NACHRI 2008 Annual Meeting The NACHRI Annual Meeting, the Association’s flagship meeting, explores issues and trends in children’s hospitals and children’s health care and equips leaders with insight and information to meet the missions of children’s hospitals.
N.A.C.H. 2008 TRICARE Leadership Meeting N.A.C.H. will hold its annual TRICARE Leadership Meeting to bring children's hospitals together with Department of Defense officials, military contractors, and military family advocates to address issues affecting children's hospitals' ability to serve children of military families.
VPS 2008 Advisory Group Meeting The VPS Advisory Group is an 11-member, representative, interdisciplinary, consultative working group that represents a cross-section of the institutions using the VPS database. The charge of the Group is to provide ongoing guidance for the VPS for the purpose of reviewing policies and procedures that impact upon the development and progress of the VPS program. The Group convenes and caucuses on a semi-annual basis with intermittent phone and electronic consultations as needed to check the direction and goals of the VPS program. The Group provides direct feedback to the VPS Executive Committee to assure that VPS policies are consistent with and aligned to national clinical and research norms. Some agenda items include: the web development, data quality and application, and collaborative efforts with other organizations. The Group also critiques and acts as a sounding board on several administrative and business plan decision issues.

N.A.C.H. 2009 Capitol Hill Advocacy Day N.A.C.H. will hold its first advocacy day in 2009 on February 25 and 26. Capitol Hill Advocacy Day occurs early in the congressional calendar, providing an excellent opportunity for hospital staff to meet with members of their delegation while policy and appropriations decisions are in the formative stages. Capitol Hill Advocacy Day 2009 provides an especially valuable opportunity for hospital government relations staff to meet with newly elected Members of Congress as they begin their first term in office.

N.A.C.H. 2009 Family Advocacy Day N.A.C.H.'s Family Advocacy Day is a unique event that provides the opportunity for families with children who have been treated at children's hospitals to come to Washington and advocate on behalf of their hospitals. The advocacy day is scheduled just after the end of most schools' academic semesters, and features family-friendly and completely wheelchair-accessible tours and activities. For many families, this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
N.A.C.H. 2009 VIP Advocacy Day The VIP Advocacy Day is designed for hospitals to bring trustees, medical leaders, major donors, and other "grasstops" contacts to Washington. The program features high-level strategy discussions, briefings from administration officials, and a gala reception and dinner at a landmark Washington location.
