This one hour webinar looks at CHALK, a multi-sector program that aims to reduce over time the prevalence of childhood obesity in Northern Manhattan and to promote a culture and create an environment in which healthy lifestyles are integral to the lives of all children.

Choosing Healthy & Active Lifestyles for KidsTM(CHALK) is a program of New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center and focuses in three areas: outpatient practices, schools, and the community at large. This presentation highlights their work in the community with their Vive tu Vida/Live your Life campaign, and in schools with CHALK's Just MoveTM program which was touted by First Lady Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move! campaign as a model program that can be implemented by schools across the country. Includes information on accessing downloadable tool kits to replicate programs in schools, clinical settings & community.
