Increased scrutiny by Congress and the IRS necessitate better
understanding of how children’s hospitals organize for and report
community benefit activities, and how they will be impacted by proposed
new reporting requirements. Over the past 18 months NACHRI has engaged
with members, congressional and IRS staff, and other associations to
represent children’s hospitals in the development of new reporting
guidelines and mandates.
